Bio
Justin Boswick is an actor from Medford Lakes, New Jersey currently living in Portland, Oregon. While most of his career has been based behind the camera, Justin has been passionate about acting since a young age after immersing himself in the local musical theater scene in New Jersey. He’s played roles on stage such as Will Parker in Rodger & Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!”, The Dentist in “Little Shop of Horrors” and Leaf Coneybear in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”.
On screen, Justin has played leading roles in numerous short films, many of which while he attended UNC School of the Arts studying directing and screenwriting. He’s been a featured extra on the shows “Mythic Quest”, “Ratched”, and ABC’s “Schooled” and had a speaking role in the indie film “Where’s Rose” in 2022. Justin’s background as a filmmaker allows him to comfortably work on set and mesh with new creative teams. He brings a raw authenticity to his performances and his versatility has enabled him to tackle a broad range of roles, from quirky comedic roles to intense dramas.
When Justin isn’t on set, he enjoys exploring Portland’s diverse neighborhoods and thriving arts scene. He’s an outdoor enthusiast and avid concert-goer, often seeking inspiration for his craft in the natural beauty of Oregon’s forests and mountains or in the local music scene.
With several exciting projects in the works, including a supporting role in his feature directorial debut “Cryptochrome”, Justin is set to continue making waves in the film industry and representing the talent of Portland on the big screen.
